<November News and Preparations for Christmas>

On the 29^th of October, all of our children went on a field day to Wol-gae middle school.

Thanks to Happy Move’s thorough preparations, we were able to successfully host the event. It was also nice to see our children look happy as we gave out the underclothes presents, presents hard-earned by our Happy Move volunteers (we very much appreciate all the effort Happy Move volunteers have put into securing these presents).

Now that many of our children are grown (not babies anymore), we indeed were feeling the need for an occasion where they could go out and run around and exercise. So it was very timely to go on a field day where children could do activities outdoors, and none of this would have been possible without our skilled and experienced Happy Move volunteers.

On the 26^th of November, we had our Happy Move mentoring party with the activity of ‘cookie-baking.’ For this party, over 30 volunteers from Happy Move participated and so we were able to have a merry party without much difficulty or shortage of hands. How much our children love and enjoy these Happy Move parties is beyond words!

Now we are almost heading into December. In December, we must plan and prepare for our Christmas party and the home-visiting Secret Santa project. Some of the presents and goods we need to prepare are school supply sets, stuffed animal toys, refreshments, cakes, and cookies. We have to find a balance between not disappointing our children (about their presents) and staying within our budget, so we are trying to figure out the best solution. But we always have our trustworthy Happy Move and Dolph’s Rebellion team, so we firmly believe, despite all difficulties, that we could make this work.

Lastly, we have received about 99% of articles for the first issue of our Rainbow Dream webzine. Now we are working on the lay out for our photos and the overall webzine page design. All of the articles sent by our Rainbow Dream members, sponsors, and volunteers show great sincerity as well as fine quality. We have only some final touches to make, and our webzine will be all set and ready. It is just remarkable to see that, with the development of technology, publishing books and spreading information can be done without the consumption of paper.
